Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale, which included the work Natura morta by Giorgio Morandi. It changed hands for a price of EUR 75,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio Morandi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Natura morta in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,332,500.00 (€ 3,712,510.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Natura morta von Giorgio Morandi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 75.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Morandi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Natura morta im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.332.500,00 (€ 3.712.510,71).
