Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Table lamp, model no. 537 G by Gino Sarfatti was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 40,320.00 (€ 5,003.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gino Sarfatti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rare and early ceiling light, model no. 2070 in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 26,369.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Table lamp, model no. 537 G von Gino Sarfatti kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.320,00 (€ 5.003,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gino Sarfatti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rare and early ceiling light, model no. 2070 im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.800,00 (€ 26.369,63).
