Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction “Intérieurs du 20e siècle” Prints, Editions & Design, which included the work Lampe De Table N°580 - 1962 by Gino Sarfatti. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,148.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino Sarfatti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rare and early ceiling light, model no. 2070 in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 26,369.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion “Intérieurs du 20e siècle” Prints, Editions & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lampe De Table N°580 - 1962 von Gino Sarfatti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.148,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino Sarfatti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rare and early ceiling light, model no. 2070 im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.800,00 (€ 26.369,63).
