Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Brand New Palette by Gina Beavers for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,893.62). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gina Beavers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lips with Painter’s Lips in June last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,866.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Brand New Palette von Gina Beavers für GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.893,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gina Beavers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lips with Painter’s Lips im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 39.866,50).
