Despite a disappointment, a good price for Gideon Börje
When the work "Kastellholmen" by Gideon Börje was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 300,000.00 – 400,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 275,000.00 (€ 26,883.16). Despite this disappointing result, "Kastellholmen" is the most expensive artwork by Gideon Börje that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Gideon Börje
Als die Arbeit "Kastellholmen" von Gideon Börje im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 275.000,00 (€ 26.883,16) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Kastellholmen" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gideon Börje, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
