Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Flight by Gianni Piacentino was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2008. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gianni Piacentino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bivest + 1 in April 2013 with an auction result of EUR 86,032.70.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Flight von Gianni Piacentino wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gianni Piacentino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bivest + 1 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 86.032,70.
