Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gianni Piacentino could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Racing-Blue Record Vehicle changed hands for EUR 36,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 45,000.00 – 55,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianni Piacentino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bivest + 1, which sold at auction in April 2013 for EUR 86,032.70.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gianni Piacentino konnte im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wechselte die Arbeit Racing-Blue Record Vehicle für EUR 36.750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 45.000,00 – 55.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gianni Piacentino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bivest + 1 beobachtet, die im April 2013 für EUR 86.032,70 versteigert wurde.
