Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Dark Amaranth Frame Vehicle With Blue-Gray Triangle Tank by Gianni Piacentino. The price achieved of EUR 36,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianni Piacentino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bivest + 1, which sold at auction in April 2013 for EUR 86,032.70.
