Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gianni Piacentino could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Black Pearl Frame Vehicle With Gray Tank changed hands for EUR 28,350.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianni Piacentino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bivest + 1, which sold at auction in April 2013 for EUR 86,032.70.

In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Black Pearl Frame Vehicle With Gray Tank für EUR 28.350,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00.
