Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gianni Piacentino could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work 56B Flight Combine changed hands for EUR 2,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gianni Piacentino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bivest + 1 in April 2013 with an auction result of EUR 86,032.70.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gianni Piacentino konnte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit 56B Flight Combine für EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gianni Piacentino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bivest + 1 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 86.032,70.
