Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Once Upon a Space Time by Gianfranco Baruchello was sold in the First Open | Online auction at Christies in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,104.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gianfranco Baruchello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work E se prendessimo trenta pittori... (What if we Take Thirty Painters...) in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 76,589.58).
