Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cacciagione di Penna Presso Un Ruscello by Giacomo Nani was auctioned at Christies in Milan in June 2006. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,440.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giacomo Nani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, parrot tulips, delphinia, hydrangea and other flowers in a porcelain urn on a plinth with roses, tulips and other flowers in an upturned basket, in a wooded landscape; and Parrot tulips, roses, delphinium and other flowers in a sculpted urn on in December 2001 with an auction result of GBP 35,250.00 (€ 57,593.6

Die Arbeit Cacciagione di Penna Presso Un Ruscello von Giacomo Nani kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.440,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giacomo Nani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses, parrot tulips, delphinia, hydrangea and other flowers in a porcelain urn on a plinth with roses, tulips and other flowers in an upturned basket, in a wooded landscape; and Parrot tulips, roses, delphinium and other flowers in a sculpted urn on im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.250,00 (€ 57.593,61).
