Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A hawk attacking a hare; Dead game in a landscape; A basket of figs with other fruit and meat in a landscape; and A basket of dead game in a landscape (4) by Giacomo Nani was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,333.10). Admittedly, works by Giacomo Nani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, parrot tulips, delphinia, hydrangea and other flowers in a porcelain urn on a plinth with roses, tulips and other flowers in an upturned basket, in a wooded landscape; and Parrot tulips, roses, delphinium and other flowers in a sculpted urn on in December 2001 with an auction result of GBP 35,250.00 (€ 57,593.6
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A hawk attacking a hare; Dead game in a landscape; A basket of figs with other fruit and meat in a landscape; and A basket of dead game in a landscape (4) von Giacomo Nani im April 2021 bei Bonhams in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.333,10) den Besitzer.
