This artwork by Giacomo Guardi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in September 2020. In the Old Master & XIXth Century Art auction, the work Vue De San Giorgio Maggiore, Venise sold for EUR 7,150.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Guardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, A View Of A Regatta On The Grand Canal Looking Towards The Rialto Bridge, With The Palazzo Balbi To The Left in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 148,527.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Guardi erzielte im September 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art wurde die Arbeit Vue De San Giorgio Maggiore, Venise für EUR 7.150,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Guardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice, A View Of A Regatta On The Grand Canal Looking Towards The Rialto Bridge, With The Palazzo Balbi To The Left im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 148.527,04).
