Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Veduta Di Castellamare Di Stabia by Giacinto Gigante was sold in the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in Milan in June 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 45,600.00. Other works by Giacinto Gigante have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 86,800.00 in November 2002 for the work Tramonto a Bacoli.
