Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Thermes Stabiane À Pompéi by Giacinto Gigante was sold in the L'Appartement d'Alvar Gonzalez-Palacios à Paris auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,320.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacinto Gigante achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tramonto a Bacoli in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 86,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Thermes Stabiane À Pompéi von Giacinto Gigante wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion L'Appartement d'Alvar Gonzalez-Palacios à Paris bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.320,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacinto Gigante erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tramonto a Bacoli im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 86.800,00.
