However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gherardo Poli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Capriccio Of A Town With Elegant Figures Arriving On Horseback And In Carriages, A Couple Dancing In The Centre Of The Square; A Capriccio Of A Town With Figures On Horseback Resting For Refreschments, A Man Being Drawn In A Cart In The Foreground, which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 70,850.00 (€ 81,534.49).
