Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Hungarian resting Lion And Lioness by Géza Vastagh for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,505.97). This price was achieved in the auction Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Géza Vastagh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Lion and a Lioness in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 192,000.00 (€ 160,066.69).

Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hungarian resting Lion And Lioness von Géza Vastagh für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.505,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F.
