The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Geza Vandor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hand With Cigarette (Diptych) in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.

Die Arbeit Arbre De Noël von Geza Vandor wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Important European Collection bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Geza Vandor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hand With Cigarette (Diptych) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
