Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,638.00 (€ 1,884.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gervase Spencer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Boy, Circa 1750 in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,632.01).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.638,00 (€ 1.884,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
