Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Circus Performers by Gerrit Hondius was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 382.50 (€ 359.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerrit Hondius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Circus figures; and Two women, which sold at auction in July 2004 for USD 1,075.50 (€ 893.87).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 382,50 (€ 359,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden.
