Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Three Horses by Gerrit Benner. The price achieved of EUR 4,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerrit Benner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zomers Landschap in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 72,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Horses von Gerrit Benner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Benner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zomers Landschap im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 72.250,00.
