Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by German Grobe could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Coastal view changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.22) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by German Grobe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anchoring the Bomschuit in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 18,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von German Grobe konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Coastal view für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,22) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von German Grobe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anchoring the Bomschuit im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.000,00.
