It achieved a price of USD 23,940.00 (€ 22,719.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Germaine Krull - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Métal, which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 46,006.62).

Die Arbeit Selected Images (The Eiffel Tower, including a sketch by Robert Delaunay) von Germaine Krull wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 22.719,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Germaine Krull mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Métal beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 46.006,62) versteigert wurde.
