Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flow (P4) by Gerhard Richter was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Sothebys in London in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,799.78). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerhard Richter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraktes Bild in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,389,000.00 (€ 41,901,917.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flow (P4) von Gerhard Richter wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.799,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerhard Richter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraktes Bild im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.389.000,00 (€ 41.901.917,57).
