The result of SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,459.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerda Tirén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mallows by a Wall in July last year with an auction result of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,046.64).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Picnic von Gerda Tirén kam im Dezember 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.459,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerda Tirén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mallows by a Wall im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 15.046,64).
