Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aurora Volando N. 2 by Gerardo Dottori was sold in the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in April 2016. The price achieved of EUR 64,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerardo Dottori - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aerei-vele-lago, which sold at auction in November 2010 for EUR 164,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aurora Volando N. 2 von Gerardo Dottori wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 64.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gerardo Dottori mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aerei-vele-lago beobachtet, die im November 2010 für EUR 164.600,00 versteigert wurde.
