Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Straattafereel Marokko (Street Scene Morocco) by Gerard Pieter Adolfs was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,930.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerard Pieter Adolfs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beeldhouwer Bali (Balinese sculptor) in October 2004 with an auction result of HKD 262,900.00 (€ 26,483.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Straattafereel Marokko (Street Scene Morocco) von Gerard Pieter Adolfs kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.930,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerard Pieter Adolfs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beeldhouwer Bali (Balinese sculptor) im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 262.900,00 (€ 26.483,89).
