Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerard de Lairesse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Marriage of Peleus and Thetis im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 819.000,00 (€ 754.282,56).
