Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil by Geraldine Javier was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 59,109.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Geraldine Javier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ella amo' apasionadamente y fue correspondida (For she loved fiercely, and she is well-loved), which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 151,677.58).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 59.109,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden.
