The price achieved of HKD 69,375.00 (€ 8,169.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geraldine Javier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ella amo' apasionadamente y fue correspondida (For she loved fiercely, and she is well-loved) in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 151,677.58).
