It achieved a price of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 19,437.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Geraldine Javier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ella amo' apasionadamente y fue correspondida (For she loved fiercely, and she is well-loved) in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 151,677.58).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 19.437,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Geraldine Javier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ella amo' apasionadamente y fue correspondida (For she loved fiercely, and she is well-loved) im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 151.677,58).
