Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dix études de paysage by Georges Victor Hugo was auctioned at Christies in Paris in April 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Georges Victor Hugo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2002 the work Portrait of a gentleman was auctioned for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,438.11).

Die Arbeit Dix études de paysage von Georges Victor Hugo kam im April 2012 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
