Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2005 Christies in Paris held the auction INTERIEURS, which included the work Ramassage sur la plage by Georges Ricard-Cordingley. It changed hands for a price of EUR 480.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Ricard-Cordingley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Boats Close To Shore in January 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,836.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2005 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion INTERIEURS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ramassage sur la plage von Georges Ricard-Cordingley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 480,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Ricard-Cordingley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishing Boats Close To Shore im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.836,28).
