It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,378.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georges Ricard-Cordingley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Fishing Boats Close To Shore sold at auction in January 2013 with the realized price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,836.28).
