Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art II, which included the work Bateaux-Voyageurs - 1931 by Georges Papazoff. It changed hands for a price of EUR 23,400.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Papazoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957, which sold at auction in June 2014 for EUR 63,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bateaux-Voyageurs - 1931 von Georges Papazoff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 23.400,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Papazoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957 beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für EUR 63.900,00 versteigert wurde.
