Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Effet De Brouillard Apres L'Innondation by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,681.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elégante dans un jardin in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,638.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Effet De Brouillard Apres L'Innondation von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.681,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elégante dans un jardin im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.638,17).
