This price was achieved in the auction Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion at Bonhams in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georges Guyot; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Panthère regardant un cobra sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of EUR 44,800.00.
