In the La Ménagerie auction, the work Panthère humant sold for USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,706.46) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georges Guyot; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Panthère regardant un cobra sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of EUR 44,800.00.
