It achieved a price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,862.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Hugnet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Prints Of Joan Miró, which sold at auction in February 2021 for EUR 47,500.00.

Die Arbeit Une petite fille modeste (or Le Scandale) von Georges Hugnet kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.862,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Hugnet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Prints Of Joan Miró beobachtet, die im Februar 2021 für EUR 47.500,00 versteigert wurde.
