Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition Surréaliste by Georges Hugnet was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. The price achieved of EUR 1,050.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Hugnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Prints Of Joan Miró in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition Surréaliste von Georges Hugnet wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.050,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Hugnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Prints Of Joan Miró im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
