Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Complices by Georges Hugnet was sold in the The Landscape of a Mind: A Private Collector's Surreal Vision auction at Christies in London in June 2019. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,944.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Hugnet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Prints Of Joan Miró, which sold at auction in February 2021 for EUR 47,500.00.

Die Arbeit Les Complices von Georges Hugnet wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion The Landscape of a Mind: A Private Collector's Surreal Vision bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.944,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
