Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work La marchande de poisson - 1955 by Georges Bauquier. The price achieved of EUR 1,312.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Bauquier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme A La Table Et Au Livre - 1949 in April 2014 with an auction result of EUR 9,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La marchande de poisson - 1955 von Georges Bauquier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.312,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Bauquier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femme A La Table Et Au Livre - 1949 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.100,00.
