Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Georges Bauquier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. In the Modern Art auction, the work La Femme Au Livre sold for EUR 6,822.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georges Bauquier; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Femme A La Table Et Au Livre - 1949 sold at auction in April 2014 with the realized price of EUR 9,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Bauquier erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit La Femme Au Livre für EUR 6.822,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georges Bauquier; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Femme A La Table Et Au Livre - 1949 im April 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 9.100,00.
