This artwork by Georges Bauquier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. In the Modern Art auction, the work Bateau En Construction - 1954-1955 sold for EUR 3,936.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Bauquier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Femme A La Table Et Au Livre - 1949, which sold at auction in April 2014 for EUR 9,100.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Bauquier erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Bateau En Construction - 1954-1955 für EUR 3.936,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Bauquier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Femme A La Table Et Au Livre - 1949 beobachtet, die im April 2014 für EUR 9.100,00 versteigert wurde.
