Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Fishermen near the Dutch coast by George Willem Opdenhoff for EUR 1,125.00. This price was achieved in the auction The former Kamerbeek Collection at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Willem Opdenhoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shipping in a calm; Shipping on a choppy sea in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 81,914.00 (€ 39,316.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fishermen near the Dutch coast von George Willem Opdenhoff für EUR 1.125,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00.
