Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by George Vincent achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the British and European Art auction, the work A View Near Norwich sold for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,351.68) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by George Vincent have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of The Needles, Isle of Wight, From Christchurch in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,309.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von George Vincent erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit A View Near Norwich für GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.351,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Vincent auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of The Needles, Isle of Wight, From Christchurch im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.309,32).
