In September 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Travel & Exploration, which included the work Three Mountain Landscapes In Kashmir, Northern India Two At 88.3 X 59.5Cm (34 3/4 X 23 7/16In), One At 59.5 X 88.3Cm (23 7/16 X 34 3/4In). (3) by George Strahan. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,780.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Strahan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The bathing ghat in Haridwar, India, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 4,864.00 (€ 5,660.86).

Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Travel & Exploration durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Mountain Landscapes In Kashmir, Northern India Two At 88.3 X 59.5Cm (34 3/4 X 23 7/16In), One At 59.5 X 88.3Cm (23 7/16 X 34 3/4In). (3) von George Strahan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.780,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von George Strahan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The bathing ghat in Haridwar, India beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 4.864,00 (€ 5.660,86) versteigert wurde.
