In May 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction A Green and Pleasant Land: Two Centuries of British Landscape Painting, which included the work Banks Of The Thames Near Streatley, Berkshire - An Evening In November by George Price Boyce. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,145.16), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by George Price Boyce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Old Barn At Whitchurch in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 38,407.26).

Im Mai 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion A Green and Pleasant Land: Two Centuries of British Landscape Painting durch, in der auch die Arbeit Banks Of The Thames Near Streatley, Berkshire - An Evening In November von George Price Boyce zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.145,16) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Price Boyce auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Old Barn At Whitchurch im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 38.407,26).
