In December 2014 Christies in London held the auction Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work A High Maintenance Chihuahua by George Paice. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,861.99), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by George Paice; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Over the ditch sold at auction in November 2003 with the realized price of GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,216.82).

Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A High Maintenance Chihuahua von George Paice zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.861,99) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von George Paice; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Over the ditch im November 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.937,50 (€ 4.216,82).
